Karachi is the capital of the Pakistani province of Sindh. Historical Monuments at Makli, Thatta
The capital of three successive dynasties and later ruled by the Mughal emperors of Delhi, Thatta was constantly embellished from the 14th to the 18th century. The remains of the city and its necropolis provide a unique view of civilization in Sindh
AM: 0900-hrs: Arrive Karachi, received from airport and transferred to hotel for overnight.
After fresh-up, pick up from Hotel and visit Clifton Beach-the popular sea-side, Mohatta Palace and drive through Clifton residential area.
Proceed to Mausoleum of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Father of the Nation. After this proceed to National Museum of Pakistan and visit the Bohri Bazar, a typical oriental market in the city-where endless variety of goods are available. Also visit Zanib Market. In the end, visit Freer Hall and witness beautiful paintings at Sadequain Art Gallery.
PM: In the afternoon return to hotel for overnight .
AM: 0800 hrs: Pick up from the Hotel and proceed to Chaukundi Tomb-Site of graveyards that date back to the 16-18 centuries. Proceed to Makli – the largest necropolis of the world with one million graves spread over an area of 15sq.kms. where kings and queens, saints and scholars are buried. Proceed to Thatta and visit Shah Jehan’s Mosque built in A.D. Proceed to Keenjhar Lake- a beautiful man-made lake is a combination of two natural lakes called Sunheri and Keenjhar.
Overnight stay at Keenjhar Lake.
AM: At 0700-hrs: Early in the morning proceed to Halajee Lake so that you can watch the migratory birds at Halaigi Lake, spent the whole day – also watch Crocodile.
PM: Return to Karachi and dropped at airport to take the flight for onward destination.
